Denis Tricot & Cie, sculpture, installation, street theatre, site-specific project (June 2000)
Supported by the French Institute Bucharest

In this complex project, French artist Denis Tricot attempted to find the degree zero of cross-cultural communication. Building up on minimal elements — a constantly re-arranged wooden structure, a simple musical sequence and equally simple gestures —, he invented a language of justaposition, convergence and inversion, an universal language of spiritualized - yet instantly perceivable -, balance and tension.
