The project goals were to set up an active network among arts organizations coming from then Central and East European countries and to deliver training courses on Audience Development on regular basis (for arts managers coming from Romania and other Central European Countries) The objectives were to provide theoretical background on this issue (audience development) and to share expertise across countries, to establish connections with other Central European Countries and set up an e-group which would discuss management issues, events etc. Another important objective was toprepare the future training course on Audience Development - which will bedelivered to Romanian managers active in the field of visual and performing arts and to improve the audience involvement of each participating organization.Long term benefits: new audience development strategies, functioning network,postgraduate training course on audience development (on regular basis)

The participants were 25 managers of independent and state theatres/ danceorganizations, festivals, museums and arts galleries (coming from Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Latvia, Armenia, Moldavia, Mongolia, Russia, Romania, and UK). The lecturers were professors, trainers and consultants on audience development and arts management, coming from the Netherlands, UK and Romania.
The project involved multiculturality and had a multidisciplinary approach because it involved both education, management and various forms of arts (theatre, dance, visual arts etc).
